Hari Raya... Duit Raya....
Hari Jumaat malam tu lepas jer berbuka aku ngan Kak Ti dah terperuk kat rumah dia. Mak mertua aku tu pun tengah buat kuih raya dia. Masa kitaorg nak start tu dia tengah bakar last tray of her Kuih Kelapa. Sementara tunggu kuih tu masak, aku ngan K.Ti pun mulakan projek. Pakai hentam je la sebab kitaorg ni tak pernah buat almond london before. The recipe dia ambik dari adik dia. Well, K. Ti la tukang gaul bahan2 tu. Aku ni tang gaul menggaul dengan tangan ni leceh sikit... Cepat lenguh... (Nak buat biskut ni tak pakai mesin pun, semua pakai tangan).
Dia dah siap tepung untuk digentel tu (monitored by my MIL) so dengan expertnya aku pun gentel la badam tu ngan tepung. Aku buat la kecik2 sebab aku tau sure kembang punya biskut tu bila masuk oven. K.Ti lak gentelannya agak besar. So, bila dah bakar maka 'terkembang' la biskut tu. Lawak la rupanya sebab dah besar cam kuih mazola lak.. Ha..Ha..Ha...
Finally bila dah siap n nak tuang coklat atas biskut tu, coklat lak tak cukup. Dapat la siapkan separuh. Habis buat biskut dalam kul 12 camtu. Aleeya lak tak tido2 sebab menunggu aku buat biskut raya... Adib lak abah dia yg jaga. Nasib dia pun tak banyak karenah. Bila balik rumah lepas buat biskut, tengok hasben aku ngan Adib dah terlentang atas tilam... He...He... He....
Buat hasbenku, baru kau tahu susah senang jaga anak... Ha..Ha..Ha...
Sayangnya tak sempat lagi nak snap gambar biskut tu. Nanti kalau ade masa aku snap gambar tu buh kat blog ni...

Almond London
125 gm mentega
75 gm gula ising
1 biji kuning telur
225 gm tepung gandum serba guna
333 gm badam berkulit dibakar di dalam oven selama 7minit (350F)
300 gm coklat masakan dicairkan
Sedikit lemak sayur (shortening)
Mangkuk kertas
Sedikit hirisan badam untuk hiasan
1 sudu kecil emplex (bahan untuk membuat biskut rangup)
Pukul mentega dan gula sampai halus.
Masukkan telur dan emplex serta tepung gandum serbaguna.
Gaulkan adunan sehingga sebati.
Ambil sebiji badam dan diisi di tengah-tengah adunan.
Bentuk seperti guli dan letak di atas dulang pembakar.
Bakar selama 20-25 minit pada suhu 170C.
Sejukkan dahulu.
Masukkan ke dalam kertas mangkuk dan disudukan sedikit coklat cair (yang telah dimasukkan sedikit 'shortening')
Hiaskan dengan hirisan badam
250 gm butter
300 gm (200 g tepung gandum & 100 g tepung jagung)
50 gm gula halus
2 biji telur kuning
esen vanila
Almond (whole di potong dan di bakar/panggang)
Chocolate Monkelarge (for coating and to be double boiling)
Pukul butter dan gula sehingga kembang.
Masukkan telur satu demi satu dan kemudian masukkan esen vanila.
Masukkan tepung gandum dan tepung jagung tadi.
Bulat-bulatkan dan masukkan badam(almond) yang telah dipotong tadi.
Letakkan di atas loyang pembakar dan bakar sehingga masak.
Bila kueh telah sejuk boleh disimpan dulu.
Bila ada free time buat coating later.
For coating:-
Double boil chocolate sehingga cair.
Bila telah cair boleh dip/rendamkan kueh yang telah sejuk tadi.
Masukkan kueh tadi dalam cup cake dan taburkan dengan badam hancur.
Simpan sekejap didalam peti sejuk supaya chocolate keras.
Simpan didalam bekas kueh.
1 ketul butter (250g)
4 oz gula perang
1/8 sudu teh sodium bicarbonate
9 oz tepung gandum
1 sudu besar serbuk badam
1 cawan badam - dibakar
3 sudu besar tepung hong kwe (packet yang biru)
1 sudu teh vanilla essence
250g coklat masakan
sedikit shortening atau cocoa butter
Pukul butter dengan gula perang hingga kembang then masukkan esen vanilla.
Ayak tepung gandum, sodiumbicarbonate, tepung hong kwe bersama-sama.
Masukkan bahan yang telah diayak ke dalam adunan butter & gula tadi.
Masukkan serbuk badam.
Kalau adunan lembik, tambah lagi tepung hong kwe atau serbuk badam.
Jangan tambah tepung gandum, nanti kuih kurang rangup.
Bentukkan bulat-bulat dan letakkan badam yang telah dibakar ditengah-tengah (Badam ikut suka, kalau nak kuih tu besar & bentuk oval, letak sebiji, kalau tak letak 1/2 je, so jadi bulat-bulat).
Bakar sampai masak & sejukkan.
Projek Kuih Raya..
Malam tu pulak Cik Besah sambung lagi projek kuih dia. Malam tu dia buat Maruku lak. Ramai lak yang berkerumun kat dia (sebab malam aktiviti rasa merasa ni meriah sikit). Penuh dapur rumah tu. Aku pun balik sebab di Adib dah mengaruk nak tido. Kalau dai tak ngantuk lagi sure aku pun terjebak kat dapur tu.
Ahad plak Cik Besah sambung lagik buat kuih. Pagi buat kuih bijan (nama glamernya tak tahu la pulak). Aku tak pose lagi so aku jadik tukang test la... Ha..Ha..Ha... Malam lak buat kuih quaker oats. Siap mintak resepi ngan K. Mah (babysitter anak aku). Sempat jugak la tolong sedikit sebanyak. K.Ti (biras aku) plak nak merasmikan oven dia yg diangkut khas dari Bukit Beruntung, so cepat la sikit proses pembakaran kuih tu. Tapi sayangnya tak sempat nak snap gambo kuih2 tu buat tatapan korang... Ha...ha...
Sebelum tu sempat lagi biras aku ajak buat almond london hujung minggu ni... Aiya... mana aku reti... Aku dah pesan dah, kalau tak jadi jangan nak bising ha..... AKu pernah tolong mak aku je dulu buat kuih ni. Mana la aku ingat... Ni nak kena tanya resepi ngan mak ku nih!!!! Mintak2 manjadi la biskut tu hendaknya.....He..he..he... Wish me luck!!!

Salam Ramadhan.... Hepi Birthday Adib
Patut la masa kitaorg sahur tadi si cekedib ni bangun awal.... Kitaorg sahur dalam kul 5 dia dah bangun. Siap gi dapur lagi... macam nak sahur jugak... Rupanya cam tahu2 nak suh mama ngan abah wish hepi birthday.... Well Adib ni mama nyanyikan .....
